Nicolas, a Senior Environmental Engineer, joined the World Bank in 2015. Based in Kingston, Jamaica, Nicolas is the Focal Point for the World Bank Blue Economy Program in the Latin America and the Caribbean. He is also the Task Team Leader for several Blue Economy Investment Projects. Before joining the Caribbean region, he was based in Dakar, Senegal, working on integrated coastal zone management in West and Central Africa region, and even before, supported the Small Island States Resilience Initiatives, at the Global Facility for Disaster Risk Reduction and Recovery.
A French national, Nicolas holds a Master of Civil Engineering with an environmental specialization from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, and an Engineering Degree with a major in Environmental Sciences from École Polytechnique, Palaiseau, France.
