Mauricio Pinzón-Latorre is a Consultant (ETC) in the Trade, Competition, and Business (WKPTS) Global Practice at the World Bank Group. His professional and research interests focus on industrial organization, cross-border financial flows, and private sector development. Prior to joining the Bank in 2020, Mauricio contributed to various publications and projects at the Inter-American Development Bank, the World Trade Organization, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the Central Bank of Colombia, and the Ministry of Finance and Public Credit in Colombia. He holds a Ph.D. in Development Economics from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies in Switzerland.
