Senior Economist in Sustainable Development

Mariana Conte Grand holds a PhD in Economics from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), is a Professor at CEMA University and is a Senior Economist in Sustainable Development at the World Bank. She has participated in the Harvard Climate Change Project and is the author of the 5th Report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

She has received numerous scholarships and research funds from Fulbright, the Agency for Science and Technology Promotion, the Interamerican Institute for Global Change, etc. His research work has been published in books and academic journals such as Ecological Economics, Ecological Indicators, Journal of Benefit-Cost Analysis, Environment and Development Economics, Environmental Economics and Policy Studies among others.
