Manjula K. Nettikumara is a Senior Operations Officer for Gender and Economic Inclusion Department at the World Bank Group. She leads corporate and private‑sector gender data and analytics, including the IFC Private Sector Gender Data Hub, working with partners such as UN Women, Google, LinkedIn, and academic institutions to close private‑sector gender data gaps. She also provides leadership on gender and inclusion impact measurement across IFC investment and advisory operations.
With over 20 years of experience, Manjula has led IFC‑wide strategy, financial sustainability, and Board‑facing initiatives that strengthen operational delivery across gender, climate, and broader development priorities. Her work spans Europe, the Middle East, and South and East Asia, during her postings in Istanbul, Türkiye, and Mumbai, India. Before joining the World Bank Group, she held financial planning and analytics roles at Dell Computer Corporation and Motorola Semiconductor. Manjula holds an MBA from George Washington University and a BBA from the University of Texas at Austin.
