Macarena Martin Segurado is a social development Junior Professional Associate at the World Bank Group. She works on social dimensions of conflict and violence, community-driven development approaches and locally led climate action. Macarena previously worked as a Policy Advisor at the European Parliament, where she was responsible for navigating a complex legislative landscape to promote the interests of citizens and civil society in European legislation. She holds an M.A. in International Security from the University of Warwick.
