James Origa is a Senior Water Specialist with the World Bank Group in the Eastern and Southern Africa Region, where he leads investment operations and knowledge work in water resources management, water supply and sanitation, irrigation service, policy, institutional, and regulatory reforms in Kenya, Somalia, and Tanzania. He is an engineer and public policy professional with over 16 years of experience in water sector development in both humanitarian assistance and development contexts. He is a member of the Institution of Engineers of Kenya (IEK) and holds a PhD in Public Policy and Master’s degree in Water Resources and Irrigation Engineering.
